You'll find Tom's Bar in the Yumbo Centrum in Playa del Inglés, and it's one of the well-known addresses on the gay scene. Good music, friendly atmosphere, and a crowd that comes here to go out, party, and meet people.

Tom's Cruising Bar in the Yumbo
The Yumbo Centre is the heart of LGBT nightlife in Gran Canaria. Bars, clubs, cafés, restaurants, and shops line up across several floors - and right in the middle you'll find Tom's Bar. Officially it's called Tom's Cruising Bar and the word "Cruising" in the name shows that there's more going on here than just drinking beer or cocktails. While the bar operates exclusively in the (covered) outdoor area, the action continues inside.
Why we recommend Tom's
Tom's is definitely worth recommending: friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and the music (including live DJs) is great! Prices for cocktails, beer, etc. are in the usual Yumbo range. Like everywhere in the Yumbo Centre, the vibe at Tom's Bar is casual, open, and international.
Join spontaneously
The great thing about Tom's: from the outdoor area you can already see who's there and spontaneously decide whether to sit down or stand with them. Downstairs in the Yumbo there are terraces and cafés that work well for an aperitif to start the evening, and upstairs the bars get busy later in the evening.

You can see how popular the bar is from the fact that it has expanded in recent years. Most recently, Tom's took over the former Tiki Bar.
Our tip
We like to start the evening on one of the terraces on the ground floor, watch who walks by, and then move upstairs. With the Strandapotheke in the afternoon and the Yumbo in the evening, the classic Maspalomas day is complete - and give your body a break the next day ;)

Kiosk No. 5 - Gay Strand Maspalomas
Am Kiosk No. 5 (früher No. 7) hinter den Dünen von Maspalomas liegt der bekannte Gay-Strand der Insel. Entspannte Stimmung, Musik, kühle Getränke und eine Regenbogenflagge machen ihn zum festen Treffpunkt. Wichtig: Zu großen Events früh kommen, sonst gibt es keine Liege.
