In the heart of Yumbo
If you walk through Yumbo in the evening, you can't miss Construction. The cruising bar is located on the ground floor and is one of the most well-known addresses on the scene. It's a popular landmark: many of us know the old meeting point at the former Kiki Bar "opposite Construction" - that's still how it appears in many directions today.
The bar
The atmosphere is relaxed and uncomplicated. If you feel like it, come in fetish gear, but it works just as well without. At the same time, it's a bar where you can simply have a drink at the bar and strike up a conversation with others.
The cruising area
Alongside the bar area, there's a dedicated cruising area with darker corners, cabins and play zones for anyone who wants to take the evening further. This includes slings, glory holes and a large group bed. There are free lockers for clothes and valuables. Have a euro coin ready as a deposit.
Who comes?
In our view, Construction is more for a younger crowd, unlike some other cruising bars on the island. Fetish outfits are just as welcome here, though the same applies to Tom's Crusion Bar or Noxon. However, during Pride seasons you should bear in mind that it can get very crowded and a considerable queue can form at the entrance.

- Photos: Keep your phone in your pocket or locker, discretion is paramount here.
- Health: Think about safer sex and look after yourself.
- Pride and Fetish Week: During events the bar is particularly busy, and a long queue can definitely form at the entrance.
- Valuables: Use the lockers and only bring what you need. Pickpockets operate in crowds - this doesn't just apply to Construction, but unfortunately to Yumbo Center in general.
